The Story Behind Capree Consulting

I’m Anyia Fowler, the founder of Capree Consulting.

I never limited myself to just the position I was hired for. Even before I officially held a management role, I already had the mindset of a manager. I naturally paid attention to the bigger picture, wanted to understand how different departments worked together, and looked for ways to contribute beyond my own responsibilities.

When I recognized an opportunity to approach something differently, I wasn’t afraid to ask questions, share ideas, or take the initiative to make things happen.

Working across multiple industries has expanded my knowledge of business, allowed me to take on new challenges, and taught me valuable lessons along the way. Over time, I realized I wanted to take everything I’d learned throughout my career and use it to help other businesses. That’s what led me to establish Capree Consulting.

My Professional Journey

My career has taken me through healthcare, emergency medical services, automotive, sales, and hospitality. Along the way, I've worked directly with patients and customers, alongside colleagues in various roles, and in leadership positions.

Working in healthcare taught me the importance of patience, communication, and understanding people's needs. EMS strengthened my knowledge of leadership, coordination and what it takes to manage daily operations.

In the automotive industry, I took an interest in learning how different departments within a dealership operated and how each contributed to the business. Hospitality taught me the importance of presentation, team work and making people feel welcome.

There's more to my story, but these are some of the experiences that brought me to where I am today.

The Bigger Picture

Sometimes what appears to be a concern in one department actually affects several others. I've learned that what you notice first doesn't always tell the whole story.

Take staffing, for example. When there are coverage challenges, the work doesn't stop. Other employees may have to take on additional responsibilities, overtime expenses can increase, and customers may experience delays.

If this continues, the business could end up spending more while getting less work done. Customer complaints may increase, business relationships can become strained, and revenue opportunities could be lost.

That's why I believe it's important to understand how one part of a business affects another. What starts as a staffing concern can have a much greater impact on the company's overall performance and profitability.

Why I Founded Capree Consulting

Over the years, I've helped the companies I've worked for find ways to improve. In my most recent role, everything came together. I realized I had gained what I needed to build something of my own. Capree Consulting simply gave a name to the work I've been doing all along.

I founded Capree Consulting to be a place where clients feel safe and welcomed. I want honest conversations, genuine partnerships, and for people to know they can come to me when they need support or a fresh perspective.

My vision goes beyond helping businesses increase revenue. I want to help them increase customer satisfaction, strengthen their reputation, make better use of their resources, and find ways to continue growing.

If someone feels stuck, shorthanded, or unsure how to move forward, I want them to think of Capree because they'll know I bring my many experiences, loyalty, and care for their business and the people they serve.

My Approach

When you work with Capree Consulting, I want to understand the business you've built and what matters to you. My role isn't to walk through the door assuming I already have all the answers.

I believe in stepping outside what's familiar, and I'll encourage you to do the same. Sometimes that means taking another look at the way things have always been done and asking whether they still make sense for your business. Exploring those ideas doesn't mean changing everything. It means giving yourself room to discover what's possible.

I'll be straightforward about what I believe deserves attention, even when that means having a difficult conversation. You'll never feel pressured to go in a direction you don't agree with.

You'll know what we're focusing on, why it matters, and what comes next. I don't want you wondering what's happening behind the scenes or feeling that someone has stepped in to take control of your business.

Capree Consulting works with you and your team. We bring practical knowledge, creative thinking, and the determination to follow through on the work we do.
